Prose Coffee Company is a Lucas-based specialty coffee roastery built on over two decades of expertise. Founded by Sharon McGee — a certified Q Grader and one of fewer than 10,000 people in the world to hold that credential — and her husband Billy, an Air Force veteran, Prose is a family business rooted in service and purpose. 

Coffee isn't just Sharon's profession; it is a lifelong passion that has been cultivated since she served her first cup in 2003. As a military spouse, she spent over two decades honing her skills from Texas to both coasts and back, learning the trade from farm to cup along the way. Every bag is specialty grade, scored on a rigorous international scale, sourced with intention, and roasted in small batches to honor the farmers behind it. We're not a chain, not a warehouse — we're your neighbors, and we'd love to serve you coffee.
